Design requirements
The most common structural form of bellows valves is bellows globe valves and gate valves. The bellows globe valve is widely used because it has a short opening and closing stroke and is easy to manufacture a matching bellows. Due to the long stroke required for the gate valve, the difficulty in manufacturing the bellows is increased, and the use of the large-diameter bellows gate valve is limited.
Valve test
The test of bellows valves is divided into type test and product test.
Type test
The key component of the bellows valve is the bellows. The type test of the bellows may be a bellows valve or a tool with a bellows, but the load, stroke, pressure and clearance of the tooling shall be the same as the actual bellows valve. The strength test of 1.5 times the design pressure was completed before the type test. The type test shall randomly select at least 3 tests from each basic design and material, and the shortest life shall not be less than that specified in Table 1. The test temperature is normal temperature, and the test pressure is the working pressure specified by the material at normal temperature. After the end of the life test, the air pressure was measured with 0.6 MPa, and the bellows and its joints entered the water to observe whether bubbles were generated. Or use the helium leak detection instrument test, the leakage rate is not more than 10-6cm3 / s.
